Manifesting 101: Simple Steps to Co-Create With the Universe.

The concept of Manifesting carries a lot of misconceptions with it.

There are so many channels of information out there that it can be confusing on how to go about it.

The reality is we are always manifesting, be it good things or bad things.

Manifesting something that has more to do  with who you are than how you are trying to bring something into your life.

We are all 'Frequency' beings and we attract and manifest things that are also in our frequency.

That is true for your relationships, finances, and basically anything else.

Manifestation starts in our minds, in our thoughts, the more you think about something or focus on something, the more you are attracting that into your life, be it good or bad.

If you focus on what is wrong in your life or what could go wrong, then that is the frequency you are putting out to the universe, and it is bound to attract things of the same frequency.

What is Manifesting?

Manifesting is bringing into form what you visualised in your mind.

An unconscious type of manifesting could be put as simply attracting that, which matches the frequency you put out into the world.

Physics defines us as matter, atoms, which in essence are particles of energy.

The Universe is always giving and expanding, if you would like to co-create with the Universe, then you would need exhale that same frequency of energy.

To attract that what is of is of the highest good, we need to become a higher version of our selves.

However, I do not want to put pressure on you. Do not think that you now have to strive to get what you want and strive to become better.

Sometimes that could be seen as resistance to the things we want as we are basically trying to control the outcome and that projects a fear-of-losing energy instead.

With that in mind, I put together some steps that you can follow to start manifesting what you desire in your life.

1. Have a Clear Vision of What You Want to Manifest

Have you ever focused your attention on several things at the same time that you ended up losing focus on all of them?

Maybe you are trying to learn a new skill, while reading a few books, while also trying to communicate better with your friends, or cook dinner during the week?

Maybe these are not the best examples, but I think you will agree with me that when you focus your attention on several things, you cannot and do not give 100% of your attention to each one.

That is the truth.

You end up splitting your focus and sometimes do not get anything done well.

The same applies to the manifestation process. Define in your mind what you want to attract, and be specific with it.

The more specific you are, the more you will know what steps to take to get there.

2. Trust and Ask the Universe for Guidance

Once you have everything clear in your mind, what you want to manifest and its specifics, it is time to ask the universe for guidance.

Know that the Universe has your back and its energy is always generous, it is always giving.

Whatever you believe in, whatever makes sense to you, God, Allah, a higher power, the universe. This is working in your favour.

Because of that, you can trust it has your best interest at heart. Say your desires out loud either in form of prayer, affirmations, vision boards, meditations, etc.

Once you release your wishes to the universe, it will start working on your behalf so your desires come back to you, as long as your energy matches it.

3. Manifest Your Goals by Working Towards Them

Remember, this is your chance to co-create with the Universe in bringing your desires and dreams into reality.

I am not saying to go trying to control the outcome on everything, you need to be careful to not fall into the manic manifesting trap.

What I am referring to is to continue to work on you plus on the plans to get what you want, without trying to 'make it happen'.

'Really' trying to attract can be seen as a resistance against attracting, because if you try to control the energy that you put out too hard, the universe will interpret that as lack and scarcity.

Simply keep on following through with your plans, but trust that the Universe will deliver and that your goals are coming to you as you work towards them.


4. Release the Outcome

As humans, we like to think we know it all. I have been guilty of that many times, and I still catch myself in these situations sometimes, so you are not alone in that.

I am aware that one of the previous steps of the manifestation process is to be clear on what you want to achieve and manifest.

Although true manifestation is not about what you think you want really, but it is more about what is of the highest good for all.

After all I said so far, this will sound counter intuitive, but surrendering your plan to the Universe will have a stronger attraction force than if you were trying hard to control it.

Remember, sometimes your plan might not be the best plan. For example, if your goal is to get a promotion, you might end up blocking a better opportunity at a different institution.

5. Align Your Energy as if the Goal Has Already Been Reached

Remember, you attract what you send out. Feeling good or feeling joy is one of the highest feelings you can have to manifest what you want.

If you can stop and really feel joy, align yourself with that feeling over what you want to manifest as if it already happened. That will certainly expedite the process.

Every time you feel that feeling, will bring it close to reality.

For example, if you are trying to manifest maybe buying a house, bring yourself to imagine and visualise getting the keys of that house, as well as getting in it for the first time.

Really imagine and feel that feeling in your body, the feeling in itself is more important than the visualisation.

Be kind to yourself when trying to imagine your goal already achieved, and trying to feel joy or other feel good feelings.

This can be repeated as many times as you like. I have done this many times. Some days are easier than others to imagine and feel joy for what I am about to manifest.

Other days, however, seem very difficult to even concentrate or put my imagination to work.

This happens to everyone so do not beat yourself up, you will get there.

6. Elevate Your Manifesting Frequency

A good way of renewing your mind and strengthen your identity into the person that you are in essence, is through Affirmations.

'I Am' affirmations are especially potent to remind you of who you really are.

The more you change your subconscious and actually believe that you are enough, the more you will start believing that you are enough to receive your goals, that you are worthy of receiving what you want to manifest.

Create affirmations that remind you of your highest self. As an example, you can start with the following affirmations:

  • I am enough
  • I am loved and accepted as I am
  • I can do everything I set my mind to
  • I am worthy of being successful
  • I am worthy of realising my dreams

The bible in the book of Joel 3:10, cites the verse: “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.'”. Make sure that you remember who you really are.

And if you do not feel like saying these because they 'might' not be true in your mind, make sure to really declare them, then.

7. Clear Any Resistance

If you believe you have done everything you can and still have not manifested what you want, probably there are still a few things that could be resisting your manifesting power.

Things or feelings such as fear, regret, traumas, disbelief, anxieties and resentments are all forms of resistance.

But these are normal too, even the most enlightened or considered spiritual people have them.

When you notice these feelings coming up inside your body, acknowledge them, see them for what they are, and accept they are there.

The more we run away from your traumas and insecurities, the longer they stay with you.

I heard the incredible Marisa Peer say once: 'Feel the feelings until they no longer require to be felt'. I could not agree more with this statement.

Accept these feelings, and you can even speak to them, as if they were people, ie, if you feel anxious, you can say:

I see you, and it is OK that you are here, I understand why you are here (if you now the root cause of it), feel the pain, feel it and breath deeply through it.

If you gotta cry while acknowledging them , then that is exceptional. Tears move our traumas for us.

The more you accept these feelings and do not judge them or yourself for being there, the quicker you will clear all resistance to start manifesting your desires.

8. Feel Appreciation and Gratitude

I might be repeating myself here :), but feeling appreciation and gratitude for where you are at, and for the journey of becoming a better version of yourself is never enough.

As a practice, you can make a list of things you are grateful for, this could include the smallest of things, these also count.

You might be thinking you still have a long way to go to become a magnet for what you want, but I assure you the Universe is taking care of you and has your back on this journey.

The fact that you searching for help and are reading articles like this already tell me you will get there, as long as you keep going.

Remember, you are already enough to attract what you want.
